Respectfully, I think forums like this should be used for learning and engagement. I am not putting down the company, I'm asking shareholders who I'm assuming have a lot more knowledge than I do, what they think about a competitor. I watched a few presentations prior btw, but did not see any reference to Merck's drug.
Do you prefer an echo chamber where everything is rosy all the time. I don't think having a fact-based discussion is "putting down the company" at all. There is plenty to be excited about here, namely, Pfizer likely wants to have some more market share in this space, and the company's strategy of looking for a deal or partnership off the back of Phase I trials. This is quite rare, phase II is usually where biotechs would do this. So this faster timeline from the shareholder perspective has to be exciting, and speaks to how large this space is.
