ADR’s product was a smart inhaler. They don’t need them they can use other ones. At the right price it was a good fit. But todays announcement about the wearable is a TOTALLY different device to a smart inhaler.

It’s exactly the same technology that monitors wheeze use in the wheezo - same algorithm.
Wheezo is self administered for 30sec at point in time -like a Dr uses a stethoscope to hear a patients breathing, wheeze etc - it’s  like a heart disease patient taking an on the spot blood pressure reading or an on the spot glucose reading for a diabetic

the overnight monitor takes the reading continuously while the patient sleeps to give the full nights reading to help doctors understand nocturnal asthma - because you can’t wake people up every 30mins or whatever and ask them to breath  so they can listen to their breathing, so a wheeze rating can be take ..

diabetics also have a continuous glucose monitor available thru a company called Dexcom (US $37 bn mkt cap (see picture).

it’s the way of the future of monitoring the larger chronic disease's dude..
