If there is one thing I hate in life, then it's bullies. On a global scene, that mainly involves Russia and China, although on the flip-side in this case I can understand Russias frustration with the continued NATO eastward expansion. These global territorial games are ludicrous, one would have hoped we had evolved a bit more from the caveman mentality. Unfortunately, ambition is what leads to being a leader, which has potential terrible consequences when we talk politics.
Having said all this, and looking for some positives, with a looming energy crisis in Europe following likely sanctions against Russia, I can only see there being further investments into renewables (such as wind power, with 100s of kg NdPr in each turbine).
