Nothing quasi about it , it is an armed takeover.
I think the west , on principle , should be helping people .
But I also think it should be selective.
Most interventions for the last 60 years have been crap.
I think there is a better chance of a good long term outcome if the coin that might be expended on the western militaries involving themselves , was spent on supporting Ukraine economically..
Think Iraq.
On sovereign nations , I am not that hung up on that , as a lot are artificial constructs .

Pretty sure the Kurds would agree with me , as would the sovereign nations who broke away from the ussr .
