Why are so many hung up on CO2 emissions? We are a burning Planet and everything that is alive or was at some time produces CO2. It's natural, nothing to do with pollution. Such nonsense is only in the minds of those who for some unjustified reason, possibly as a result of a brain washing exercise, associate ANY burning with pollution.
If this were the case, their bottom of the garden compost heap must be causing pollution, because vegetative decomposition is a burning process (oxidation)! What nonsense- just like the nonsense of associating all other processes that produce CO2 as polluting.
Of course it is not. It is the Planet's way of recylicing one of the most important elements required for producing life - Carbon.
How can Carbon be a pollutant? Don't the so called 'Green minded', understand how important CO2 is in providing plants with carbon (an element), required for photosynthesis, in order for plants to produce crops etc.
The only way a plant can obtain its carbon requirement is through CO2. You can’t go up to Bunnings and buy a bag of carbon for your plants. Also, how do we get our carbon requirement, through plants and any other organism of course who have consumed a source of nourishment derived from plant material?
CO2 is the most important naturally occurring gas on this Planet and there isn’t a great deal of it – just 0.035%. It isn’t anywhere near 1% of our atmosphere! What a joke!
It astounds me that such an argument should exist at all!
It also goes to show how out of touch/uneducated many are, especially on the so called green side of politics!
