I follow with interest this claim by CVN that they cant find good people to run drilling rigs. Im a bit confused to say the least
Im no drilling rig operator but my gut feeling is getting a rig onsite, set up and drilling straight down to above the target is 80% of the time it takes and 10% of the skill.
So I find it hard to buy into this argument, because you could operate a crew differently to get the skills where they are needed at the right time.
