Yes, Total have pulled out - they’ve pulled out the chequebook, and PRL shareholders will be the ultimate beneficiary of that.
If relations between France and Australia were that bad it would be sanctions on each other - not Russia - that would be in the news today. Meanwhile we still drink their burgundy, eat their Roquefort and Yoplait, order their Airbuses, stay at Accor hotels and drive our Renault. While they happily sip our Shiraz, eat our lamb, burn our coal and invest in our renewable energy projects.
