It is very unethical. I do write positive things about the companies I genuinely believe in, but I always try to maintain some reservation when it comes to more speculative stocks that I like and try to remind myself and others that nothing is to be taken for granted. And, yes, there are times that I have been wrong as well, so it is important to adjust our sentiment based on new information as it comes in. NVX is a multibillion dollar company without any cash flow. It has dropped already more than 50% in the past couple of months. If these two simple facts don't raise any alarm bells then I don't know what will.
