The moratorium on on shore drilling was lifted as of about 6 months ago I believe. You still need the local permissions etc (as per the latest announcement) but the right to drill is now allowed (at least for conventional gas which LKO is). It'll be 6 months I reckon before this vast resource can be actually tapped. Until then we can only go back and read the reports from 5+ years ago reminding us of all the underground wealth there is to unlock. The Nangwarry CO2 is a bonus and will probably be the first to come on line.
