If so, when you look at yearly and half yearly reports, at the end of the opening report, the company will give a forecast "Outlook" on their future trading.
You need to find this and read it.
Also, companies often issue future profit forecasts in separate announcements and especially also issue such forecasts at their annual AGM meetings, the details of which are announced on the ASX as a transcription of the AGM speeches.
So, in three places you will find profit forecasts:
1. Yearly & half yearly reports
2. AGM presentations
3. Earnings "update" announcements.
