i believe they knew about well before most of us. remember the swiss banks that provide the liquidity for our market also store the wealth of dictators and questionable folk from all around the world. it is also not far fetched to say that they start world conflicts. when you learn who owns what around the everything becomes clear. in short banks own EVERYTHING and i say that in a literal sense.
