Try as I might I am having trouble getting my head around it.
And I guess some others are a bit flabbergasted as to how RAU can get involved in such an operation considering that RAU has yet to get anything into production.

However, while RAU is not Jindal, nor is it RIO but it has got the nod to be involved as much as it wants to, or can be, with however much it wants to take of the 50% remaining.

Yes it has the nod from its Bolivian connections and no doubt the links it has made with the Chinese company are going to prove useful I would think in the months and years ahead.
