Tis was a cold dark night.

I opened my trading app and realised market close happened 4 hours ago and with the weekend coming up I wondered "What am I going to do tomorrow at 9 to 10 when I usually watch pre market?".

I then had a look at my net wealth and realised I haven't made a dime in 5 years.

Eched in my brain was the echoes of Switzer saying "kdawg it's a blue chip dividends growth investment grade high yield million X 50 girlfriend early retirement stock". And the Morningstar report exclaiming the stock is undervalued by 157%.

How can such a great piece of technical and fundamental analysis be lying?

Then I scrolled up to read Ukraine was being invaded.

Scrolled up higher to see it was a new COVID omicron variant.

Then I scrolled all the way up to see the stock was being shorted by men in skinny navy blue suits and D&G glasses placing orders while driving their brand new Ferrari F40 across the Harbour bridge as dolphins jumped across the water during sunset.

Buzzzz buzzzz then I woke up. What a terrible nightmare. Nothing in that dream made sense. Since when does an invasion in europe, less lethal virus or shorting effect a little bank at the bottom right side of the world map.

And so I carried on getting ready for work slipping into my navy blue skinny suit preparing to get into my F40 to drive across the harbour into work. What a silly nightmare that was...
