The Kavanefjeld project is not happening now or any time in the near future. More than likely it will never happen IMO.
Donald is not coming to the rescue and anyone that does not work for GGG or is not a shareholder, is not going to care less. Except for the people of Greenland who have successfully expelled the GGG tyrant from their land through a democratic process called an election.
The current government have an extreme dislike toward GGG, and it appears so do majority of the population. That's not going to change, even if a sympathetic government toward GGG is elected in future.
Take Lynas as a case study. The company built a RE processing plant in Malaysia with full government support and even then they had their fair share of issues due to public sentiment toward the plant. The government changed the goal posts numerous times, more recently imposing restrictions on the level of radioactive material the company is allowed to import into Malaysia which meant Lynas had to relocate the cracking and leaching section of its processing plant outside Malaysia to the tune of $500,000,000. And that's with a supportive government. The Lyans processing plant has been operational now for over a decade without incident, yet the fear is still there.
GGG have no chance.
