I agree. Each of the small caps developing a room temp Quantium computer seems to be shadowed by one of the big players - Microsoft, Google etc. I think that's why IBM invited Archer into its private club - keep a beedy eye on us and move on it if we get close to producing the goods.
If we succeed in building a working prototype of a chip that could see mass production of quantum lap tops and phones, we'd have to be a hot target for a takeover / IP deal. I think IBM would be first in line given the existing agreement and collaboration re Quiskit and the Q network. If they didn't move quickly, it would surely be open season with the likes of Samsung/google.
