If it rains over the inland at this time of year, the Great Northern Highway gets flooded around Fitzroy Crossing in particular and if it doesn’t dry out in a week or so, they might temporarily shut-in production as they need to truck oil to Wyndham as occurred in 2018 in the one-in-a-century direct hit. It remains open in both directions though.
