If a major bank manipulating sp for client.. there is the possibility they are doing it obtain a significant stake at a cheap price...lower the cost of acquisition. Do major banks usually manipulate a shareprice just for the sake of trading..IE. is their strategy or mandate.. dunno..perhaps somebody can comment.. usually that type of activity I expect from a hedge fund.
The fact is uncertainty is scarying buyers. We had that DPIM meeting with thai bank a few weeks ago.. hopefully we hear an annoucement on finance soon
