Will be interesting to see how nano technology for testing this new BA2 stealth omicron virus. That has infected around 39% of the worlds population as of a few weeks ago
and PCR testing is having trouble detecting it.
This is where I'm speculating nano technology testing comes into its own companies like Dotz and Anteotech have the benifits of being sensitive as. Rat tests are built from using the original Alpha mutation which is the grandmother of both delta strain and old and new omicron strain.
2 separate branches in theory Dotz could use different colours to identify the delta branch and omicron branch by using different colours for testing as the omicron virus mutates. Yellow and red could be used for Delta strain and 2 other colours say Blue and Red for delta
that's all visual.
There always needs to be a plan B and C when it comes to testing and keeping in front of this virus.
