He has probably come in as a corporate restructuring accountant to clean the place up. There was plenty of that required with the merger. It will be a big saving if they use another internal for the finance or he does both jobs, after all Maria just burnt the cash and was modelling most of the time. He probably put a few nails her Maria's coffin, they aren't connected on Linkedin and he has been there two years.
