But the drop in share price of around 30% since the buyback announcement means that individual holders have lost a heap of money rather than it coming out of PTM's balance sheet. I'd have thought the strategy might have been to "buy on the dips", enabling them to manage the buy-back, rather than wait for the sp to crash...
