The reason I paid the $180k loan balance (and like you my total investment in Grt Sthn projects was a lot more than that)was because of my experience in the 1990's of fighting three bank's as a loan guarantor on behalf of a company.

I argued that on the documents I was not liable to pay any of the creditor banks and after living with the case on a daily basis for five years the Supreme Court of Victoria gave judgment, and costs, in my favour.

Having been through a case that was all about the documents, and the assignment of such documents from one bank to another, I am pretty sure the documents in the present case will be enforceable.

I know its easy to say Grt Sthn ripped growers and investors off and Adelaide / Bendigo Bank are party to such deceit and rip off but my personal view is that a court will order that the banks are entitled to recover the loans they made.
