Well today in Brisbane has been another disaster. Just some points
- Schools now open
- Buses and trains not running, despite cars being on same roads that buses normally travel on
- Many roads still flood damaged
- Traffic being disastrous with 3 hour trips when normally takes 20 minutes as kids are being driven to the same scholls that buses aren't being used on
- Dams still releasing water causing roads and houses to stay flooded
- River flooding caused by dam releases isolating many suburbs such as Brookfield, Karana Downs, Moggill. Now been isolated for 5 days as dams have been mismanaged again. Nobody knows when these releases will stop but these poor people cannot get food, go to school, work, etc Nobody arranging food for them
- Power still not on in many suburbs as substations built in areas that flood
- Looters out stealing in affected suburbs as no police presence.
- Communication is stuffed and nobody has awareness of when this will all finish
- Palaschuz keeps telling people she doesn't control the weather. Doesn't help, but she does control a lot of the rest
I have spoken to many people in Brisbane and they are now very angry. The state government couldn't do more to wreck our state. Many kids can't get to schools, but they delayed kids going to school for two weeks due to covid which was never an issue. They then didn't extend as it offended the teachers union. She has destroyed our tourism sector, segregated our state, we all know they have integrity issues (Anyone working with State Government in Qld knew that long ago) and she has now mismanaged a flooding event, they learnt nothing from 2011. Same issues again! In fact now even worse.
