This is kind of back to the future isn't it?
CAT was going to be the OEM.
Then a price per brick carrot was dangled. (aka WaaS)
6 months later, CAT was out.
Years later has WaaS been a success? There has been a few builds, which kinda proves the tech, but I don't see evidence of WaaS being in high demand.
Now 7 years after the IPO FBR has yet another OEM MOU.
Personally I think the OEM route and selling machines to customers is more likely to succeed than WaaS ever was, so now that FBR are back to engaging with an OEM I see as a positive.
