fat prophets in a down market, page-17

i was a member but am not now. i got lucky and bought into their best tip, CVN, at a very low price, and have enjoyed my best ever return on a stock by a country mile. nearly everything else i purchased on their recommendation performed poorly.
However i still regard them favorably. they are into selecting small and mid cap stocks that regular brokers would not ever cover - and there is no hope in hell that when the market gets crunched as badly as it did, these small stocks stand much hope. i was burned like most others on my small stocks, and my large too, though the large caps are recovering well now.
FP have also been selling the great gold bull run long before it happened recently, and stuck too it steadfastly when gold was performing poorly not so long ago. They called it right in a big way there.
i'm of the opinion that now the market appears to have settled somewhat, and the big stocks have enjoyed a solid recovery, there might be more opportunities to profit well from the small caps - and perhaps FP may enjoy some positive returns for their members.
