I know there is a lot more to TA than candles. But in the end, they are all descriptive statistics or pareidolia. If you don't know what descriptive statistics are, and their limitations, see this for example: https://conjointly.com/kb/descriptive-statistics/
Basically, descriptive statistics describe the state of an existing dataset. These statistics are by definition lagging. Inferential statistics can be used to make predictions beyond the existing dataset. Where are the inferential statistics? Without them, this is all just tea-leaf reading.
Its mathematical nonsense to predict the future state of a variable set using descriptive statistics. Where it works, it is temporary and only reflects inertia due to a temporary equilibrium between those variables - or because the observer has become a variable in the system (eg lemming cheerleaders).
