Despite the date, this was only placed on the site some time after 0700 this morning (3 March 2022).

Not sufficiently detailed. A poor effort!

Please attribute to an Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) spokesperson:

“Following significant rainfall and flooding in Queensland and northern New South Wales, operations on the ARTC network between Brisbane and Coffs Harbour have been temporarily suspended.

“Initial assessments suggest there has been minor track damage, and a full inspection of the track will be undertaken when it can be done safely after water levels recede.

“Planning for any necessary repairs to the track and recovery of rail operations is underway, however there is no estimated time for return to service at this stage.

“We thank our customers and the community for their patience.”
