If the clinical trial were outsourced to a CRO then i'd agree with what you're saying, but it appears Donna may be playing an active role in various aspects of the clinical trial except actually physically running the trials, with Thomas Schnitzer providing oversight as the principle lead. This is usually a very critical and busy role at the early stages of a trial while more sites are being added, but eases off as the processes become more streamlined.
