mate I understand what you are saying and can only add a few things to consider.
Firstly as we move into summer the air is getting hotter so the cooling of the night has less effect. And the insulation WILL hold your inside temp more constant. So if your day temp of the local air rises, if you do not allow the night air to flow through then in the morning what you say could well be true - in other words the blanket has held the warmth inside. Maybe you can allow night breezes to flow through to bring temps down inside.
We are blessed with plenty of sea breezes and the air temp drops quickly before bedtime and in the morning the temps in and out are very close. I can only say the insulation has far exceeded my expectations and will probably also now insulate the garage as well.
cheers
