The Aussies are being slaughtered, 165-1, so cricket might not have any support by the time of the next Australian summer, especially given the IPL and scandals regularly occurring to the Aussie team. Nobody likes a loser and especially a loser lacking in morality.
NEC might get knocked around too but unlike SWM you would think they will not pay much for the cricket rights when they are returned.
As for the Olympics, perhaps they might get shown on a national broadcaster like SBS or ABC. Doubt any commercial broadcaster like SWM, NEC or CBS Ten will want those rights? Totally putrified after Beijing?
