Not sure how far away this is as its still being tested, so the SAFEST aspect you state is very misleading unless of course there is or you have confirmation they have tests that can prove it's the SAFEST as BYD has proven in all their testing.
In any event it proves that there is a huge amount of work being done to lower costs and improve the safety componetry of batteries by big manufacturers which will inevitably lead to those minerals such as nickel and cobalt being greatly reduced in the long term.
