Even back then holders were mostly upset about how much money they'd lost, but most were optimistic about the futures. I took a quick look at this company (at the request of a friend who had just bought shares) and almost immediately decided to watch it as a case study of a dog stock, and posted about that here on the CPH threads. Over the years I've watched the share price gradually but quite consistently decline, with the odd little rally here and there and one relatively significant rally (the price of course didn't last and CPH is now back near all time lows, though Peck still somehow tries to claim sort of victory over it). The shareholders/bears have lost more and more money and become decreasingly optimistic and now the overall tone even among holders is bleak despair and regret interspersed with frustration and anger. Then you have Peck who continually encourages people to buy/hold and somehow claims that the bears have dug their own graves? He calls people who make money elsewhere 'failed investors' and continues to spruik a dying dumpster fire. Peck follows me into the discussions of other companies (which I have made great returns on) and calls me a failed investor, posting contrary predictions to my own which are consistently incorrect. You seem to be assisting others in digging their own graves, Peck. I don't think any CPH bears have regrets about being bearish. The regret and anguish I see here is on the part of the bulls and holders. I have had holders over the years thank me for my input. How many people here using genuine accounts are here wanting to thank Peck for his encouragement to buy and hold CPH? How many genuine holders actually feel resentful for me being bearish over the big picture? Take a careful moment to think about who you want to listen to on Hot Copper, or if you are inclined to tack advice from the likes of Peck, take some rare good advice from Peck, pay particular attention to Peck's own advice not to listen to Peck or anyone else on Hot Copper.
