Autosime, our biggest inbound tourism markets in the last year prior to 'the virus' were mainland communist China (big spenders!) and Kiwis.
Neither can visit here easily at present.
Australia's reputation has taken a big hit from overreach by State governments, especially in Victoria, Western Australia and Queensland. Videos of police brutality, in total, attracted countless millions of worldwide views.
Very few Poms, for instance, claim they want to visit here in the short term.
