$1B NPV is actually very plausible. If you look at the table I posted, just using the exact same SS at current gold price of USD $2,000 (which by many accounts will continue to rise over the coming years) the NPV jumps to over $600M. Add in an increase in grade from 0.4 g/t to 0.5 g/t through RPM and you hit >$1B NPV.
To clarify, this only includes 2.57 Moz out of a total potential resource of 9.6 Moz and growing. This is also in USD, $1B USD = $1.35B AUD.
