ECLIPSYS

• Assists with thermal management differently to PCM-based products such as Alexicool and Biocool – PCM absorbs heat while Eclipsys moves heat away from the body and out into the environment.
• Allows new claims not possible before.

ALEXIGUARD

• Increase to 50 cycle wash durability (from 25) has significant implication for potential market.
• Broad market introduction into the military uniform supply chain.

TOTAL COOLING MATTRESS SYSTEM

• Being released this year.
• “Similar products” to be introduced over the next 12 months.

SOFT-TEX

• Still in discussion re original contract which expires this year. This contract was described by Bob as “unnecessarily cumbersome”.
• While Soft-Tex does have an agreement with Serta around its Arctic mattress line, its predominant focus is top-of-bed applications
• Bob does not anticipate any changes to the contract with Soft-Tex to impact market share.

ICL

• Ongoing, albeit at glacial pace. ICL was critically impacted by Covid. ICL has a “European focus”.

• New technologies are said to be coming….
