as nambucca says, Joe's been at N.Scotia for a time - since earlier this year if my memory serves me correctly. he took up a sizable stake in Acadia, which ATV had been looking to do. given the length of time that Joe and ATV management have known each other, we can assume they compare notes quite often. it would seem unlikely that they are proceeding independently of each other these days. Nova Scotian gold mining is in for some rationalization and concentration of ownership, in the near future i suggest. ATV remain remarkably cheap. they are a steal at their present price.
