Time now perhaps to prioritise the “Ni” in Kuniko. Overnight:

“...The London Metal Exchange (LME) was forced to halt nickel trading and cancel trades after prices doubled on Tuesday to more than $100,000 per tonne in a surge sources blamed on short covering by one of the world's top producers.

The LME's shock move came as Western sanctions threatened supply from major producer Russia and marked the biggest crisis to hit the 145-year-old exchange in decades.

...Amid market panic sparked by Russia's invasion of Ukraine, buyers are scrambling for the metal crucial for making stainless steel and electric vehicle batteries...”

Kuniko’s Norway tenements, located just across the North Sea from the UK, include the disused Feøy Nickel mine that [quoting the Prospectus] “had regular production between 1895-1901 and 1910-1922 via open-pit and underground mining. A total of 37,000 tons with grades of 2.6% Cu and 2.1% Ni was mined. It originally operated as a Cu mine until Ni production commenced in 1899.

...This part of Norway is known for its historically important Copper (Cu) and Nickel (Ni) production. Kuniko has held these mineral exploration licences since October 2020.”
