To make products to last longer is the complete opposite of what we have seen the past decades. In principle they wanted their products to break after a specific timeframe to be able to sell more. But in regards to the green push this behaviour might change or I expect that this happens. They will create a world where you don't buy and own things they want to make everything as a service.
