now thats a tough one , it depends who holds a majority of long contracts, if its held by only a few the squeeze will go on , if there broadly held will be a fast drop as there on a huge profit and the weakest hands will start selling causing others to follow, i think lme will keep tightening regulations to restore market to a orderly price but higher than before the squeeze given russia might stop exporting nickel, the futures market are ultimately there to facilitate miners locking in prices for future production not for financial traders, miners , users of nickel need an orderly market and eventually thats what will happen, not saying its over yet
