The EU will only lower their usage because they are forced to do so. political decisions will impact the everyday human trying to live and raise a family. the everyday person is on struggle street. The potential 40% shortfall in supply needs to be replaced from somewhere, with something.
IMO, gas demand is here for the long term. I doubt the T/O offer will be subjected to huge discounts, particularly with our geographical position.
12-24 months is a short-term outlook that may spur worldwide interest in our 36000 km2 Mongolian mammoth.
I too am a LTH with 1 basket of eggs in this location. I share similar concerns with many others about the state of the world but see no other more worthy risk-reward profile than this.
