Counterparty risks…It Doesn’t Happen Until It Does.
Another stalemate in talks between the two in Turkey with no commitment to even stop shelling. Lenny Kravitz is right It ain’t Over until It’s Over.
Try playing this market, hot cold hot cold…there really is no clear vision where and how this ends…neither Putin nor Zelensky are prepared to budge which means they’re going to a war of attrition and see who blinks first and concede or more aptly cave to demands from the other side. This will inevitably drag the entire world economy down with it and result in a slow train wreck market.
For those unable to be nimble correctly and more likely you won’t get it right all the time, staying on the sidelines remains the best prospect at least for now. Yes, Winning Is Not Losing. It is very certain Putin would not concede so it is unfortunately for Zelensky to come to terms with a smaller loss and still retain power rather than losing everything and more…but if the West continues their support, he would want to have it played out for as long as it takes…as just what price would the world able to tolerate for support that fails to yield the precise outcomes the West would have hoped for. You would also wonder if the US has greater desire to see the destruction of the Putin regime via the sanctions or truly caring for the Ukrainian people that became lambs to the slaughter. This is not an articulation of support for Putin, oh no, but one must also understand the agenda of the West. If sanctions fail and they will, the West simply cannot afford to drag themselves deeper into a war they cannot get out.
