Why doesn’t the situation have to manufactured? I think the takeover is due to opportunity…the battery division is a long-standing business which became a passenger due to covid and mostly in the publics eye…
but battery tech has been engaging otherwise with battery manufacturing businesses…if I were such a company, I would have already thought of ways to restrict IP from competitors….a takeover is a perfect way of achieving this
