If - and that’s a very big ‘if’ - Putin had a beef with NATO, he should have taken it up with NATO instead of needlessly attacking a non-threatening neighbouring country, causing who knows how many deaths and injuries, untold damage and mayhem to the international economy and possibly even more damage to Russia’s economy and pain to Russians.
