We went from 49c to 43 on the temporary closure and currently 45. The biggest drop was 6c over 1.2 billion shares so that was $72 million. If Dragues closed for a week we'd lose 1koz of production. Hedged at $2400 and AISC of $1800 we'd lose $600,000 of net income. Go figure...but Dragues has been an anchor from the start. Two days of closure (and if mining continued as 'extendedleave' wrote) we've probably lost nothing. Good old Dragues.
We need to put a resolution to the next AGM to change our governance such that shareholder approval must be sought prior to major purchases. I'm no legal eagle. Hopefully someone is capable of drafting such a motion.
