this paints a picture of serious medical issues that have made him physically highly irritable, explosive in anger, physically expressive..... all guesses alright but even ear infections, untreated, can cause serious cerebral irritation, inflammation or even become an abscess that can infect the brain.
I've know wonderful police who can talk down a person with acute paranoid psychosis. the training in NT, I know, is very different to that done in NSW.
