re: coe strike oil - ta for commy TA tells you a lot more, even if the price does not move, as in the case of COE. volume is an important part of it.
a modest but steady rise in volume & the OBV could mean one of three things: someone knows something & accumulating, expectation or rumour. in this case, I'd say accumulation. the other two would have a more spikey appearance.
