Isn't it same thing? If you borrowed and delivery to LME then your shorts are closed. Then you have to buy 150000t physical to return to lender. If the market is in deficit where you going to get that much. still you need to come up with the lot of money to buy the metal. Either way there going to be big loss or need lot of cash to get out of this situation.
