I think Tsingshan received help in somehow (HK controlled LME suspended nickel trading and cancelled the 8th March trades), that actually saved Tsingshan, imo, also Tsingshan said they have secured enough inventory to deliver, all these are driving nickel price down substantially in a very short period.
I reckon nickel price will go up after Tsingshan short is sorted.
