They dropped the nukes? I realise it's more nuanced than that, and Japan may have capitulated if Russia was let off the leash. however that's not what happened, and there is a reason they were not allowed to finish the war . the ends did not justify that means. Russia would now own Japan.... not sure how they would share the ocean with China .
