Good question Kdawg121. I have been investing since March 2020- one of the cohort of newbies who came in to the ASX with wide eyes to join in the fun as a bear market was declared. I want to improve as an investor. I have read plenty about the psychology of investing and I recognise myself as someone who overtrades at times. I do analyse my trades and I find clear differences between my best and worst- so I seek to repeat what works and avoid past mistakes. But a lot to learn yet. A healthy profit so far- but it could have been far better.
Day trading is not for me. I can see an argument for taking profits when an entity becomes overbought.
Going forward I intend holding longer and concentrating more on dividends.
And happy to be holding WBC at a good average price- it should do really well in the long run- especially if they get their expenses down.
IMHO DYOR
