All too predictable, unfortunately.
Loss-making companies with $150m revenue are not worth $1B, no matter how hard you cheer.
Fundamentals always win in the long-run.
It is quite humorous that back when the SP was above $3 and I was pointing out the complete mis-match between the fundamentals and the SP valuation, I was absolutely piled-on by all the cheerleaders in the thread. "You don't understand business", "you are scared of everything", etc, etc. I've pasted my favourite below from the head cheerleader, Lord Bell, who seems to have gone silent on the CET forums for some reason?? When I said that $1.50 was probably a more realistic valuation than the $5-$6 which everyone was forecasting, the howls of laughter from the cheerleaders was hysterical.
My point in pointing out the insane valuations was to stop 'Lord Bell' and others from trying to con other people into buying CET shares at the vastly inflated prices from 6months ago. Unfortunately the echo-chamber of hotcopper drowned out any sensible debate. Sad that people have lost their money permanently now.
It'll probably go back close to it's original 50c valuation, if you want my view.
Maltese Interest rates are still rising…I am human I cannot hold back the tide of change..some shares will correct ahead of others …it’s now happening ..many shares have lost ground .There will be more to follow…CTT is falling in price and so is Dubber and many others will follow …I cannot stop falling prices ..but if you believe you can ..good luck.As to the value of $1.50 ..if you stand on a country road long enough a car will hit you…nobody buys shares forever…yes even Warren Buffett buys and sells…and will you be upset if the Shares stay above a $1.50…or will you buy at 50c in a fire sale with a new technology evolving..,everything changes ..get used to it!!!
